WHAT IS PDS?
GENERAL INFO
Pessis deadly sin is a project by Damagedcoda6669 about a 16 year old boy named Pessi and his sinful life. It started production around 2020-2022 and as of 2024 it has been dead air on whether or not its shelved.
Sources claim that it had a team of voice actors and coders (but with a majority of Jacks Work they all left after some correlated relationship drama that same year.)
GAMEPLAY
From what public knowledge we have it was to be a RPG maker game about choosing your own path, but ultimately it was also a story with a game. A lot of Jacks notes on the work leads one to believe it was also supposed to be some kind of visual novel.
In surviving concept work we can see many options such as murdering a character detailed as pessis "childhood friends." RPG maker setting concepts and possibly interactables? Implied that you could converse with npcs as well.
Ultimately, it is hard to tell what most of PDS gameplay mechanics were supposed to be. As most of the surviving public material is more story centric, in comics.
STORY
(note, a lot of pds has been lost to the ether, 99% of this is what has been dripped to me through the grapevine)
PDS revolved around a core cast of 6 characters. Pessi, June, Luna, Micheal , Anya and Sylvia.
You can read up on them in the characters tab.Pessi is our Main Character, implied runaway from a catholic orphanage with his friend and now squats in some ambigiously abanonded building.
The story is centered very closely around June/Pessi for reasons listed in Drama Info. As if you havent gathered already, PDS is a coping piece from Jack. Most of its content is centered around vents and the characters are all inspired by people who Jack had drama with.Pessi and June met after Pessi recognized him from a Missing Childs poster and Pessi took him in. Their relationship unfolded into toxicity. They were both disorded unaccompanied children.Its implied that Pessi made June frequently uncomfortable and unhappy. Pessi even took to drugging June to coerce him into sex. More specifically violent sex, such as cutting open Junes gentials, and stabbing June.June survived all this torment, only to later kill himself as he saw no other path to leave Pessi and also be happy.The story only goes down hill after this, vague mentions in Screenshots show that Pessi had been cursed from the start with a crucifix of a birthmark. He cut out his eyeball and made a shrine to bring back June, but god wouldn't hear him out.
